The heaviest Insects :The heaviest flying insect are the Goliath beetles of Africa which weigh up to 100g.
The longest Insects : The longest insects are stick insects which can grow up to 400mm long.
The fastest flier: The Australian Dragonfly can reach 60kmh.
The largest butterfly: The Queen Alexandra’s bird wing of Papua New Guinea can be up to 300mm across.
The loudest Insect: Male Cicadas (like cricket) rub their abdomens so loud they can be heard from 400m away.
