What is the Green House Effect ?

The earth is warmed by the sun and in return gives out heat into space . This ‘exchange ‘ happens in the atmosphere , allowing the rays of the sun to pass and the Earth’s heat to return from its source. If the atmosphere is polluted , the rays of the sun can pass, but because the Earth cannot return enough heat through the atmosphere , the balance between heat coming and heat going is altered and the earth’s temperature increases.
